Lou Dobbs’ Attack on the Middle Class
It is obvious that Lou Dobbs of CNN does not know the “Middle Class”. He promotes himself as a spokesman for the “Middle Class” but his anti-immigration rhetoric is a contradiction. Small Business Entrepreneurs and Blue-Collar Workers are the “Middle Class”. Many of them are dealing with employer sanctions laws, and others arrived here as undocumented workers themselves. I met a million dollar business owner that came into the United States hidden in the wheel well of a truck. He now employs engineers and service technicians. Lou Dobbs attacks the “Middle Class” with his constant racist rants.
Yes, racist! It doesn’t matter that his wife is Mexican-American. I am sure she is very “obedient”, and I bet her family rolls out the red carpet for him every time he comes home. How do I know? My Aunt married a successful and prejudicial American. As a kid, I remember my Grandmother lecturing me before we would go over to visit. “They are not like us”, “Do this”, “Don’t do that”, “Don’t touch anything”, “Remember to do this” she would say. When we got to their house my Grandmother was treated like their Mexican Maid. No Respect!
